Pilot Armstrong - A dream bigger than myself
Organized by: Larry Kesslin
My dream is to become a Pilot, but my country and family is who this dream is for.
My home and heart is in Uganda. We have about 34 million people, of that almost 70% are in poverty.I am not here in the United States to become an American. I am here to become a Pilot because this will open many opportunities for me to transport goods/cargo to Uganda and use my capitalism to make many changes for the better for the lives in my home land.
Because of your help and many others, I came to the United States a little over a year ago in February 2014 to start my Commercial Pilot License courses. I have done over 150 hours of flight time and now have my private pilot's license. My experiences here have been amazing, and I have almost reached this dream, but the cost has me stuck. I am asking for your help to cross the finish line -
I have just 40 hours of my flight training remaining and expenses to get back to Uganda and begin making dreams come true for my community. This will cost at least 25k on top of the 15k we have raised today.
Please watch my video and learn more about the change we will make, one flight at a time.
Thank you. - Pilot Armstrong
