EVENT DATE: Nov 01, 2015
Family and Friends-
This year, I am running the NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 1 with PITCCH IN FOUNDATION to support the athletic and educational programs that support inner city youth.
Many of you know that I discovered a love for long distance running in my mid-twenties and it changed my life in countless ways. My only regret is that I did not discover fitness and athletics sooner. Many of you also know that I write a fitness blog and am passionate about sharing my love for running and inspiring others to change the course of their lives by living healthier lifestyles. Seventeen Magazine just named me one of their favorite fitness accounts to follow :)
By running with PITCCH IN FOUNDATION, I hope that my efforts today will help a child discover a passion for athletics, and that it will positively impact the lives of our youth like running has changed impacted my life.
I hope you consider donating to my fundraising efforts to support this amazing cause. I can't WAIT for November 1. And if you are unable to donate today, I would appreciate your support by sharing this with your family and friends.

PITCCH IN FOUNDATION is proud to be an official charity of the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon. Join us to raise funds to support our year around programs on the east and west coasts.
The PitCCh In Foundation was established by Amber and CC Sabathia, pitcher for the New York Yankees. With a dedicated team of professional staff and volunteers, we want to make a difference in the lives of inner city youth by raising their self-esteem through educational and athletic activities through our Signature Programs and field renovations. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments that include:
- Over 20,000 backpacks filled with school supplies distributed to elementary students.
- Over 1,000 boys and girls have participated in our annual All Star Baseball Clinic.
- Over $300,000 invested in renovations of baseball fields and community spaces.
