Stuff About Me:

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.  As you may know, I am in training for the 118th Boston Marathon which will be run on Patriot's Day, April 21, 2012.  I have been selected for the 4th year to run as a memeber of Team Hoyt, the amazing father and son team that compete in marathons and even Ironman triathlons.  This Boston Marathon will be the Hoyt's 32nd and final Boston Marathon!  I will be returning this year as the assistant charity race director for Team Hoyt.

For those unfamliar with the Team Hoyt story, I have attached this incredible YouTube video to familiarize you with the Hoyts.

AMAZING VIDEO!

Team Hoyt fundraising benefits the the Hoyt Foundation, Inc., an IRS 501(c)(3) charity.  The money we raise is used by the Foundation to promote disability awareness through donations to other charity organzations.  For the last two years, the Hoyt Foundation has given $25,000 to the Easter Seals Summer Camp Program, gifted $25,000 to Children's Hospital Boston for their Augmentative Communication Department so they can train people to use communication devices like Rick's, provided assistance to theraputic horse riding programs and donated running chairs to various organizations so their disabled members can compete like Dick and Rick.

Our goal for the 2014 Boston Marathon Team is to raise $200,000.  ISo we are really going to work extra hard this year, not only to run 26.2 miles, but to achieve our fundraising goal.  I encourage you to give generously to this great cause and father/son team.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might be inspired by the Hoyts or want to donate too!
