Ending World Poverty Begins at Home
Fatima from Kabul, Afghanistan, surrounded by the Taliban, lost her husband to war.
Susana from Salinas, California, surrounded by gangs, lost her brother to a drive-by-shooting.
Nancy from Soquel, California, is surrounded by her friends who care about changing the lives of women and girls.
Three women in three different parts of the world, across cultural and economic barriers show us how to contribute to poverty relief and change each other's lives.
Rising International has revolutionized the home party business model to alleviate poverty both locally and globally. Think Avon or Tupperware with a social cause.
We search the globe for the world’s most forgotten women (like Fatima) and enable them to change their destinies by selling their handmade jewelry, fashion accessories or home decor at Rising Home Parties. We search the U.S. for party hosts (like Nancy) who invite friends to their homes to shop. We train women and teens, many un-employed and under-employed (like Susana) to run their own Rising Home Party businesses and sell crafts made by their global sisters.
Fatima used her additional income to send her children to school, and Susana used her additional income to move her family to a safer neighborhood. Nancy and her friends contributed to the end of poverty. Together, we rise.
Currently Rising International conducts, on average, one party a week and impacts 8,000 lives locally and globally. Your donation would help us reach our goal of conducting 10 parties per week and impact 80,000 lives per week!!!
