SASF MNSTR Madness Cycle
EVENT DATE: May 06, 2017
DEADLINE TO GIVE: May 06, 2017
Students from affluent families have every advantage.
Their schools provide mentors, tutors, have vibrant arts and sports programs, excellent student orchestras and marching bands and visits to the Met and MOMA.
But in our schools, arts and other enrichment programs have been slashed and a majority of the students qualify for free lunch.
Our mission is to be there for students who start school without the advantages they need to succeed. We will be their advantage.
The Sport & Arts in Schools Foundation provides after school and summer programs that allow students to take full advantage of academic help, arts and technology programs as well as sports, all in a safe, and nurturing environment. Our programs not only develop mind and body but instill the confidence and attitudes for success in life.
We’ll be there to give these students the advantages they need to succeed.
On May 6, 2017
teams will take on the challenge of cycling close to 15 miles in what is sure to be the most intense indoor cycling class of their lives! In doing so, they will be setting a positive example to SASF students who face many obstacles in their daily lives. Our teams will embody the organization's core values of leadership, commitment to excellence and optimism, thus inspiring our young students to work hard towards their goals.
