I’m Liz Miller and I am a volunteer with Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue (SCGRR). I do Permanent/hospice foster for rescued Goldens who are not adoptable due to health issues. Six of my fosters had cancer and died as did one of my adopted Goldens. Last year alone, I lost 3 Goldens to cancer. Two of them, Clarence and Florence, did the Paws Fur Pink walk last year.
SO many Golden Retrievers are diagnosed and die from cancer. This has to stop. We must find a cure. Their lives are too short even wgothey are healthy. I am raising money again this year for National Canine Cancer Foundation. Funding is needed to find a cure. Often times, medical breakthroughs that are found for animals help people with the same diagnosis
Please help us find a cure. No amount is too small.
