Thank you, Thank you!!!
November 07, 2016
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I am excited to run the NYC marathon this November to support epilepsy research. I am channeling the best athlete I know, my sister Stacia.
I really admire Stacia, and I've always looked to her for running advice. Stacia ran for the University of Minnesota Cross Country and Track teams (That's her in the running photo!) and of course, the TRF Prowlers. :) She has admirably met two of her personal running goals; breaking three hours in a marathon and qualifying for Boston.
Stacia took a break from running and paused her career as a television news reporter last summer to undergo surgery for epilepsy. Her bravery is beautiful, and I've been so impressed by her positivity, optimism and drive to raise epilepsy awarness. She is currently sharing her story and connecting with others in the epilepsy community through a documentary project.
Love you Stacia!
