Have Fun & Save Lives
KOMO TV, Seattle Refined, STAR 101.5, KOMO Newsradio and 570 KVI. invite you to Standup for the Cure at Sunset Beach, Lake Sammamish State Park on August 26th.
Join us for a day at the lake featuring Professional SUP instruction, races, live music, and raffle prizes – all while raising funds for Susan G. Komen Puget Sound. Bring your own paddleboard or rent from our onsite vendors!
Enjoy Barefoot Wine, Mac & Jack’s Beer, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka in our social garden (21+).
Registered participants will receive a swag bag that includes an event jersey, lunch courtesy of Ivar’s Seafood & Chowder, a drink ticket to the social garden (21+), and offers from our expo sponsors! Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase from our food truck partners Thai-U-Up, Athena’s, and Island Blends Acai.
Every $125 raised for Komen enables a local uninsured woman to receive a breast exam. We can save lives through early detection!
Top fundraising teams earn a spot in the Survivor Relay.
REGISTER TO JOIN THE EVENT TODAY.
Like all WA State Parks, Lake Sammamish State Park requires a Discover Pass for parking. This park is equipped with an automated pay station for visitors to purchase a one-day or annual Discover Pass. Lots fill up on sunny Saturdays so carpooling with a buddy is encouraged!
Please Note: To attend the event, please register by selecting Join the Event then Register. You will be able to set up your fundraiser page within the registration process.
