I've been selected to run the 2013 Boilermaker as a charity runner for the Sitrin FundRacers! To earn my Boilermaker bib, I need your help raising a minimum of $500 for the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center, a non-profit organization located in New Hartford, NY.
All funds raised will support Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program, which provides specialized services to help our nation's heroes recover from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and other combat-related conditions.
Funds will also benefit Sitrin’s STARS Program for people with physical disabilities who wish to engage in recreational or competitive sports.
As a Paralympic Sport Club, Sitrin offers:
- Wheelchair road racing
- Cross-country skiing
- Adaptive shooting
- Wheelchair basketball
- Wheelchair curling
- Adaptive golf
- Adaptive paddling

Thank you for your support!
Alli Morgan grew up in Whitesboro, and now attends Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Alli is a member of Sitrin’s Adaptive Biathlon team and is also an employee at Sitrin. In August of 2011, Alli underwent an above knee amputation following a series of 46 failed surgeries over the course of six years. With the “loss” of her leg came the opportunity to reclaim her life. She has been able to regain the active lifestyle she missed for so many years through Sitrin’s STARS program. Alli competes in biathlon, sled hockey, and recently became the United States’ first Adaptive Bobsled/Skeleton athlete. Her other athletic pursuits include cycling and kayaking. Alli ran the Boilermaker 5K prior to her injury, and is grateful for the opportunity to participate again and support Sitrin’s programming in the process.
