I went to Africa as a federal employee for the Dept. of the Interior in 2002, 2007, and 2011. I made some good friends, "Rafiki's" over there, Stephen William being one of them. Stephen lives in Kenya near Mount Kilimanjaro and drives a land rover for safaris but there is no work during the off-season which is from February through July. Recently, I received a message from Stephen that his mother is very ill and needs emergency care in Nairobi, Kenya. Stephan has taken her there but he has no means to pay for her care. This is where you come in, my rafiki's! Please consider this a very special and unique situation. Normally, you would get a request to help some starving child in Africa. This is a request to assist a working man extend the life of his dear mother.
