On March 16, 1997, Susan Lasky lost her six year battle with breast cancer. Fighting the disease with great courage and dignity, Suzie was strengthened by the love and support of her family and friends. Inspired by her hope and determination, The Susan F. Lasky Foundation was formed to support and make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer.
The Susan F. Lasky Cancer Foundation’s mission is to provide support to individuals who are undergoing treatment for cancer, to promote all types of cancer research, and to provide assistance for individuals and organizations whose efforts benefit cancer patients.
Our Foundation continues to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by cancer by raising more $500,000 since its inception, which has helped support a number of organizations that provide care and services to cancer patients and their families. We are excited to be a Charity participant in this year's Bank of America Chicago Marathon! Our goal is to raise $5,000 so that we can continue to donate to so many great organizations in the Chicagoland area that serve patients with cancer and their families. Please help us by making your donation today!
