As part of running the 2012 Boston Marathon for the first time, I am raising funds for a great cause - the Ron Burton Training Village.
Over the past 25 years the Ron Burton Training Village has served more than 3,100 young men and women in their physical, spiritual, and educational growth. Over a six year period, RBTV campers are guided, supported, and mentored in some of life’s most essential areas including: education, social skills, morals, values, leadership, and fitness. Most of the kids who attend the training village are from economically disadvantaged and often troubled and at-risk situations so every dollar raised truly makes a difference.
I'd be honored if you'd consider making a donation to the Ron Burton Training Village on my behalf in support of this important work.
If you are a Hancock employee you can match your credit card or check donation by going to www.easymatch.com/jhancock. Select "Ron Burton Training Village" (type "ron burton" in the organization search box and you should get the project ID# 1471) and enter in the information. You can put "Match for Dimitri Goutis' Marathon Run" in the purpose box.
Then, please send me an email to let me know you made a matching donation. That's the only way I will know about your match. I will then manually add it to my fundraising goal. If you don't have a matching gift option or you've already maxed out your matching gift limit or can't use it for some reason and don't need the tax deduction, you can write me a check and I'll make a contribution and match it for you. Just contact me for more details.
Thank You for Your Support! I really appreciate it. No amount is too small (though bigger is better!), so please consider donating to this great cause. The money you give this year will really make a difference for a kid's future.
