Team-SAGA rides El Tour

We ride to increase trans awareness, promote health and wellness, and support the amazing work of the Southern AZ Gender Alliance

TeamSAGA started as one woman's dream. Competitive bicycle racer Anna Lisk entered gender transition with the belief that we do not have to give up on our dreams or passions to transition. In time, that vision grew larger, because the core message is much bigger than an individual person. TeamSAGA exists to carry that message forward, create greater visibility for the trans community, support the work of the Southern AZ Gender Alliance, and promote health and wellness through fitness within the community. This November, in coordination with SAGA, Perimeter Bicycling, and Transgender Awareness Month Tucson, we will be fielding a team of riders for the Tucson Medical Center 34th El Tour de Tucson - sponsored by Casino Del Sol Resort. Below you will find our riders fundraising pages, and can set up your own if you wish to join us (please see Team-SAGA.com for more information on riding for us.)

The Southern AZ Gender Alliance (SAGA) supports and advocates for southern Arizona’s Gender diverse community. SAGA envisions a society in which transgender, non-binary, and gender-creative people are ensured of their basic rights and can be open, honest and safe at home, work and in the community. We provide support groups, advocacy, community education, and training for businesses, service providers, and community members on how our allies can be supportive and inclusive.
