RunVermont's Miles for a Mission program was created in 2009 to help local charities raise financial support through the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon and Relay. This program was designed to strengthen ties between the running community and Vermont charities.
For the third year in a row, the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) has been selected as a featured non-profit at this year's marathon. Founded in 1982, COTS is the largest service provider for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in Vermont. COTS has been awarded four relay slots for runners to raise money for this important cause at this year's Vermont City Marathon. Our goal is that each runner will raise $100 per mile, totaling $10,480 for homeless prevention and services in Chittenden County.
Donating online is easy and secure through the bright orange DONATE button on your screen. Thank you so much for your support of our runners and this important cause.
