Our mission is to promote the health and wellness of Chicago children through innovative, engaging, and sustainable youth running programs. We currently serve 16,500 students throughout Chicago in 46 Chicago Public Schools. 90% of Chicago Run participants qualify for free or reduced lunch. Chicago Run currently has a wait list of schools. All donations will help Chicago Run meet the demand and allow for more children in Chicago to get up and running.
Team Chicago Run members will truly add meaning to their miles by running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in support of our programming!
Chicago Run respectfully asks all charity runners to adhere to the following fundraising schedule.
$500 by October 1st, 2016
Full minimum of $1,000 or $1,500 by November 11, 2016
On the fundraising date, Chicago Run will charge the difference between your fundraising balance on your Crowdrise fundraising page and the minimum fundraising amount due. If your fundraising balance is at or above the required minimum, your credit card will not be charged. If your credit card is charged and you later receive additional contributions, Chicago Run will issue a refund check to you for the amount previously charged.
