I'm running the Boston Marathon on April 16th, 2012!
After a challenging 2011, in which I was treated for early stage breast cancer and lost my Mother, I am acutely aware that in healthcare and healing, the gaps left by science and medicine are best filled with compassion. I was presented with an oppurtunity to run for Team Schwartz Center that I could not refuse. It's time for me to give back to all of the caregivers, professional and personal who healed my body and restored my soul. Please consider donating to the Schwartz Center to help ensure that everyone's health care experience is filled with compassion.
Colleen McDonald, MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner

The Schwartz Center is housed at Massachusetts General Hospital -- but all funds raised through our three marathon runners will directly support Schwartz Center programs. We are honored to have Simon Axten, Bob Hanscom and Colleen McDonald running for us!
