EVENT DATE: Nov 01, 2015
I am excited to be running in the 2015 NYC Marathon on November 1 to support the Tisch MS Research Center of New York. As many of you know, my wife Sharyl is on the Board of Directors of the Center. The Center is an independent, not-for-profit research center devoted to finding the cause of and cure for multiple sclerosis. Living with MS (preventing flares, treating symptoms and making daily life livable) is where we are now; the Center is focused on finding the cure. The Center was selected by NYRR as a charity community partner of the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon. It has set an ambitious goal of $75,000 to help support its cutting-edge research program including the development of biomarkers, understanding disease mechanisms, and identification of a trigger that might cause the disease in addition to being the only MS center in the US that is conducting an FDA-approved Phase I stem cell clinical trial. If you can support me and the Center by making a tax-deductible donation, please do! Your contribution will make an impact on the progress the Center is making in understanding MS in order to find the cause of and cure for the disease.
