EVENT DATE: Jun 07, 2013
The Triumph Mile is a 1/2-1 mile walk/run for mildly disabled individuals who require guidance from able-bodied athletes.
The goal of the event is to provide a health enhancing and mentoring opportunity for individuals with disabilities by utilizing a team-based endurance athletic approach.
The event is hosted by Bellin Health and coordinated by myTEAM TRIUMPH, an athletic mentoring program for individuals with disabilities. The event will take place on the Friday prior to the Bellin Run (June 7th) and will be run on the streets around Astor Park in Green Bay Wisconsin.
We are partnering with a great non-profit organization, ASPIRO Inc. to provide Individuals with disabilities, called “Captains” this opportunity.
We need able bodied athletes, called "Angels" to be their guide during the event. Each Captain will be paired with 3 Angels who will support and encourage them during pre-event trainings race day.
This is a fundraising event, therefore, the cost for Angels to participate is a fundraising minimum of $25. During registration, you will be guided through setting up your fundraising page. Once you create it, share with your friends like crazy!
