ORGANIZER: Trustees of Tufts College
EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
This April 20th, I will run 26.2miles from Hopkinton to Boston, in the 119th Boston Marathon. I am running as a member of the Tufts Marathon Team.
The Tufts Marathon Team is the largest collegiate marathon program in the USA. During the 2014 marathon season, the team raised $467,139. Since its inception in 2003, the TMT has raised over $4.5 million, which has funded research on nutrition, famine, and childhood obesity, as well as medical and fitness programs.
I will do what I need to do to prepare for the race. I will run in snow and ice. I will run when I am tired and sore. I will eat the proper foods that will allow my body to run for 26.2 miles.
However, I need YOUR help to raise $5,000. No donation is too small.
