The UTA Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit private foundation formed by United Talent Agency to guide its clients, agents, executives, trainees and support staff in effective and rewarding philanthropic activity.
The UTA foundation offers guidance on charitable giving partnerships, identifies reputable organizations with which to be associated, and/or augments their existing philanthropic efforts.
UTA’s multi-faceted approach-including volunteerism, in-kind donations and financial support, reflects both the agency’s belief in good corporate citizenship and a company-wide responsibility to better the community around it. The UTA Foundation channels the agency goodwill and resources into action, such as mentoring youth, building homes for low income families, and restoring our community’s natural resources.
The UTA Foundation oversees in-house programs including: the UTA Employee Payroll Giving Program, which supports local organizations with year-end grants; the Trainee Volunteer Program, which sends agent trainees into the community to volunteer at a UTA supported organization during the week; Assistant and Summer Intern projects, which provide community service to local charities; Mentoring, Scholarship and Internship Programs with University High School both in LA Unified School District. The Foundation also oversees all-agency volunteer projects, such as Habitat for Humanity builds, supporting our Veterans, Ballona Wetlands Restoration Days, Thanksgiving Food Drives, Holiday Toy Drive, Chrysalis Professional Clothing Drives, and others throughout the year.
