Welcome to Safe Harbor's Walk for Paws Family Festival & Dog Walk!

Event Details

What: Take a stroll with your faithful companion(s) 

When: Sunday, August 25, 2013  2pm-6pm  (Rain or Shine)  

Registration: 1:30-2:00pm, Walk begins at 2:00pm 
$20.00 Pre-registration (per dog if received by 8/24/13)
$25.00 (per dog day of event) 

Where: Lincoln Park, Kenosha, WI (same as last year!)

Why: To raise funds for Safe Harbor Humane Society

The registration fee will be waived if at least $300.00 in pledges are raised per person.

Waived Team Registration

  • Teams of 2-3 walkers will have ALL of their registrations fees waived if they raise a combined $600.
  • Teams of 4-6 walkers will have ALL of their registrations fees waived if they raise a combined $1000.
  • Teams of 7+ walkers will have ALL of their registrations fees waived if they raise a combined $1400.

How to Use This Site

Below are a few helpful hints for getting started:

  • Create a team. Not only will you have more fun, but you’ll have much more fundraising potential. Join a team by clicking on the "Join the Team" link below.
  • Create a fundraising goal for you or your team.The minimum pledge collection requirement is $50 per person, but the sky is the limit!
  • Create a web page.  Personalize your web page to explain your cause and emotionally appeal to potential donors.
  • Involve as many people as possible! Remember, people can’t help if you don’t ask!

We've got everything you need right here: a pledge sheetadditional pledge sheetsteam building ideas and fundraising tips. Also enclosed is a Paw Gram, which is just one way to raise money and advertise your support.  Paw Grams can be sold for $1 or $5 each and posted in a highly trafficked area. Contact us if you would like to order some printed Paw Grams.
