Last year’s event was a big, fat, glorious food fest. This year we’re back and we’re bigger and better than last year – with new challenges, prizes, and more fun for everyone. Our event this year will coincide with Founder’s Day in Seymour. Founder’s Day will be running from 10am-4pm, and our event will happen rain or shine at 1pm on the dot! Come out and watch some passionate folks compete for pancreatic cancer research and patient aid.

When: July 4th, 2017
Where: Zois Pizza Palace, 48 Main St, Seymour, CT 06483
Time: Founder’s Day festivities will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm; Contest will start at 1:00pm
Female Amateur – teams of 2 females need to eat a small 10 inch Greek cheese pizza each – Prizes 1st $500/ 2nd $300/ 3rd $200
Male Amateur – teams of 2 males need to eat a medium 14 inch Greek cheese pizza each – Prizes 1st $700/ 2nd $300 / 3rd $200
Firefighter (only firefighters may compete) – teams of 2 male or female will eat a medium 14 inch Greek cheese pizza each – Prizes 1st $700/ 2nd $300 / 3rd $200
Entry for these 3 divisions is $150 by April 15th – early bird and after it is $250
Professional division – ONLY division for Professional eaters – THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN ANY OTER DIVISION- 1 ON 1 EATING a medium 14 inch Greek cheese pizza – Prizes 1st – $1500/ 2nd $500/ 3rd $250
Entry for the PRO division is $100 early bird by April 15th and $150 after
Each entrant must be 18 years or older to participate.
Teams are made up of 2 participants, no exceptions.
Teams must fundraise a minimum to compete (see minimums for each division listed above).
Throwing up will disqualify you immediately.
Pizza will be served at room temperature.
Water will be provided by Zois at the beginning of the contest.
Participants must sign a waiver upon acceptance into the contest.
