BENEFITING: Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio
I am riding 325 miles on behalf of the Charitable Pharmacy in order to address the need of asthma and breathing problems within the economically vulnerable population within our community. Every dollar raised will be used to purchase inhalers for our patients.
A one-time donation of $150.00 will provide one person with a maintenance inhaler that helps control their disease. A $50.00 donation will purchase a temporary rescue inhaler.
You may already know someone who has been affected by asthma. I ride for the uninsured and underinsured patients who have breathing disorders and for their loved ones. I ride for people just like you and me who live everyday with this disease.
I will be riding from Cincinnati to Cleveland from April 27 to April 30, 2016.
Many people think asthma is a minor inconvenience, but it is a disease with serious consequences. There are about 100,000 adults and 40,000 children in Franklin County living with asthma. Asthma disproportionately affects disparate groups in Ohio, such as women, children, African Americans and Appalachians.
I know my ride for the Charitable Pharmacy will make a difference. Please help me in my quest to purchase breathing inhalers for our patients by making a donation. Your generosity would mean so much to me!
