A Blind Man's Wish
Organized by: James Mitchell
My fiance Karen deserves the wedding of her dreams. She is an absolutely amazing woman. I am blind and have kidney failure which requires meto go to dialysis three times a week. Before I started dialysis I was bedridden for a few years and she took care of me with no thought of herself. 6 months ago at the age of 43 she gave me the most amazing gift of my first child a beautiful baby boy named Nathan. Since I am blind there are only so many things I can do to help her with the baby. Without complaint she wakes up every night 2 to 3 times a night to feed and change and comfort the baby. she then goes to a full-time job without which we would never be able to get by. we have been trying to save for our wedding for a year now but every time we have some money saved up something happens such as the car breaking and needing to buy a new one or simply the multitude of things the baby needs. our wedding is currently scheduled for August 24th and she is already talking about having to postpone it once again. she's not planning expensive waving as a matter of fact she's research and found the cheapest location getting family members to cure it and DJ it and ordering all the dresses for her and the Bridesmaids online. I would love more than anything for her to be able to marry me on September 24th as planned.
