With Hurricane Matthew, unfortunately Haiti is back in our news feeds. The widespread devastation and hopelessness of the situation can be completely overwhelming and maybe ask what can be done to help? Duky and Nelly Charles are a beautiful couple with 2 young children, Duko and Keisha. As Haitians, they have seen this devastation take place in their country so many times. But even with opportunities to work and teach and practice medicine aboard, they stay in Haiti because they have a heart for their nation. They currently rent out a small office space in the city of Limbe, Haiti to provide free medical services for women and children to include prenatal services, diabetes screening, and recently cervical cancer screenings.
We want to help them build a permanent clinic for them to be able to expand the work they are doing and continue to make an impact on their local community. The vision includes patient treatment rooms and a surgical room for small procedures. Help us raise $20,000 to make this vision a reality. Right now, in the midst of this crisis, this is a real thing we can do to make a lastly impact in the lives of the Haitian people. Join us.
