A home for Joy And Todd
Organized by: Joy Oglesbee
My hardship started in July, 2007 I lost my job I had a double mastectomy and was on total life surport had blood clot 3 surgeries over a two year span .I was fighting to save my home 1st with County Wide homes then Bank of America bought out Country Wide and I kept trying to Modify my home with Bank of America. Finally hired attorney's in Orlando to fight Bank of America to modify my loan this went on for almost four years . Then in 2014 I received my final foreclosure date and at the same time the home I lived in for 20 yrs had a sink hole my attorney advised me to walk away. My husband and myself rented a home and we were in it one month and found out it was going into foreclosure unless the owner came current we would have to move again so we agreed and paid the amount to bring the house current with an option to buy the house within 3 years that will be August of 2017. However my husband tried to finance the house due to the underwriters found he was on the deed of the house I walked a way from so now he is penalized for 3 years from the sale date that will be May 2018.And the owner house house we reside in won't extend the option to buy. I'm 59 years old and I have 13 Grandchildren and have other health issues and want a home for my kids and grandchildren. We are willing to pay for the home if we can get someone to invest in the home and we will buy it from the investor. I don't want to be homeless there is nothing worse then wondering where your going to rest your head each night.
