THE STORY:

We're pregnant! Little Baby T is on his/her way to unite our blended family. After 4 years together we decided to fuse our two families into one. We are all happy to welcome this new bundle of joy into our lives and had planned to expand our seemingly ever-growing family. We hadn't planned on experiencing a total destruction of our lives at the same time. Daddy-to-be, the majority household supporter, fell on hard times. And, when life gave a kick, it kept on kicking. He suffered a job loss of a really well paying job (for this area), which, started a cascade of a total loss of everything. Though, he found another job, the damage had been done and the much lower pay is enough to support the family, but, can't dig us out. First, the electric fell behind. Then, rent after everything we had went to keeping it from shut off. The two teetered back and forth taking turns being behind. All the while, during a brief unemployment then later a lack of speedy state handled paperwork after work was found, child support (which had faithfully been paid for years) joined the pack and fell behind also. The majority of pay goes to catching it up plus keeping current. Ultimately, the water bill snuck in and got shut off and we were forced to move out of our home of three years. We packed our house and sadly put everything we own in a storage unit. Then, moved into a motel room with our three children and one on the way. In hopes of keeping caught up on bills and attempt to keep our home, we took out a title loan and payday loans. This is where all of Mommy-to-be's pay goes along with the expenses like gas, insurance, etc. Just to keep them current. Daddy's pay has been just enough to be exactly the same as the weekly rent, but, now on the verge of being unable to pay to stay. To keep our heads above water we have skipped birthdays and holidays, washed laundry in a bath tub, cook ramen for days on end, applied for numerous new jobs... To list a few. All we need is a leg up. A little boost to get this chaos under control so, that, by the time our baby arrives, we could be back in a home and bring him/her into this world with a positive start.
