THE STORY:

A-Pal Humane Society saves hundreds of animals annually through our Save the Kittens program, Community Cats Trap-Neuter-Return program, our PitBull Spay and Neuter program, Our Special Needs program and more! We wouldn't be able to do any of this without YOUR help! The donations that generous individuals give to us allow us to work hard to save them all!

Your donation will help us with our Special Needs Program:

-Medications and Surgeries for our Special Needs Cats

--Zelda came in to us this year from animal control and had been hit by a car. She had a fractured jaw that had to be wired and a broken tail that needed amputation . All together she cost about $3,200 and has since been adopted into her forever family.

--Max came in to us at death's door, emaciated and with a severe urinary tract infection. He didn't respond to several antibiotics but is now on the path to recovery. Max  still needs to gain a little bit of weight before he finds his new home and so we aren't sure yet what his cost will amount to.

-- KC came to us from the Shelter because she was diagnosed with diabetes insipidous. She requires daily medications for the rest of her life and we needed to make sure she would find the right family for her care. KC cost us around $850 to diagnose, medicate and care for, but has since been adopted into a forever family.

--Dexter came in to us from Animal Control with the very contagious Calici Virus. He required several surgeries to open up his airways because of growths that had begun to block his breathing. All together Dexter cost us $590 in surgeries. He sounded like he snored constantly so he was nicknamed "Snuffelufagus", but his character was so big that he found a home despite his loud breathing.

-medications and surgeries for our Special Needs Dogs

--Dixie was a cattle dog that fell out of the back of her owners truck on the highway and fractured her hip. Her hip surgery cost $1,880 and she is currently being fostered by a vet technician.

If you feel a tug on your heart when you see a lost or homeless animal, then please join us — donate today. These lives depend on you. Our humane society wouldn't be possible without all of the love, time and funds that you provide. But together as a team, we can create an environment where animals and humans live peacefully side by side.

Thank you so much for supporting A-Pal Humane Society and helping us make a difference in the lives of animals!
