A Story to Tell

"Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can't survive. I now see how owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do." Brene Brown
These words resonate with all of my being. Several years ago, I lived through what were the toughest years of my life. I was fortunate enough to have the intuition and gumption to Journal all of it. The highs, the lows, and the dull hums in between--I own all of it. And I wouldn't take nothing for my Journey. After coming out on the other side of through, unashamed and whole, I am ready to give my testimony to the world.
After the Affair, Re-Membering, my memoir, is an offering to the women of the world who are just as I was several years ago. Unhappy with their status, resisting their one life, and making choices out of desperation and insecurity. It's taken me two years to document these details of my life in the hopes to provide inspiration and faith to my fellow woman.
But it's going to take more than little me alone, to make that happen. And more than a village, it will take a community. I am appealing to you as my community. To date, there are numerous things that need to happen in order for me to give birth to this big baby. Did I mention it is due in December?!
Among the big to do's to cross off the list: book cover designs, marketing campaigns, printing and shipping costs...Simply put--your offering aids me to give my story away.
This journey has been years in the making. I humbly request your financial help to fund the journey to my vision. No amount is too small. If you feel the urge to contact me directly for other funding options--you are welcome to do so.
Thank you in advance for your generosity. Your donation ensures the Journey of the Journal continues. My deadline to collect funds is November 25, 2016. If we raise $200 a day, we can make it!
