Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to have Ambassador Jason spreading our mission and bringing inclusive road racing to Northeastern Louisiana!
What does this mean? Well, enjoy this video!
Learn about the life event that inspired Ambassador Jason to make this a reality:
On Sunday, January 18, 2015, I had the honor of running the Louisiana Half Marathon with some amazing Angels from Mississippi and an inspiring athlete named, LaBrittany Knight. I don't have the words to express what it felt like to hear LaBrittany say 'I told you I was gonna do it! ' when she walked across the finish line of her first half marathon. The smile and the tears of joy streaming down her face was priceless.
I have struggled in the past answering the question, 'Why do you run?'. Well, not any more, as LaBrittany answered it for me. Although she was confined to her chair, she took every step with us...thumbs up, high-fiving the crowd.
Everyone, no matter their physical condition or social status, deserves the chance to experience the joy that running can bring. Ainsley's Angels makes this possible, while also being advocates for and educators of inclusion!
YES, YOU CAN...donate 20 or 50 dollars right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
EVERY dollar of every donation to this page will directly support our mission in Northeast Louisiana!
