In a few weeks my time working at Brigham & Women's Hospital for the ClimbCorps program will be over, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working for this organization and for such an amazing cause. With that said, we will be having our largest ClimbAmerica! event in the program's history this coming June 7th at Fenway Park! This is the first stadium climb for heart disease that has ever been done in a major league ballpark, and I look forward to a very enjoyable and successful event. For any of you who live in or near Boston, this should be a really great event in which participants will be climbing all around the bleachers at Fenway. It will be quite a sight to see a couple thousand people snaking around the bleachers all in the name of heart disease prevention, and I invite you to come and join if you are interested. For those of you who are too far away to participate, I would love if you donated to my climb!
ClimbCorps is excited to be having it's first ever stadium climb at Fenway Park to raise funds and awareness for heart disease - America's #1 killer. On June 7, 2014, thousands of climbers will come together at ClimbAmerica! to scale the stairs in Boston's historic Fenway park to have fun, get moving and make a difference in the fight against heart disease. Registration is free and to help make the biggest impact in the fight against heart disease, all climbers are required to raise $200 before or on event day. Space is limited so guarantee your spot and register today!
