Early this morning HSSA responded to call from Park Place mall security that a box of nine puppies had been abandoned outside of the mall.
Since we brought them into our care they have tested positive for parvo, and one puppy has already passed away.
We don't know if all of the puppies will survive, but we are going to give them the very best chance at life, and we need your help! To treat each of the puppies HSSA needs to raise $8,000.
The surviving eight puppies are suffering, through no fault of their own. Situations like this can be avoided with prevention services like spay/neuter and proper vaccinations.
Please share this story to remind your friends to spay/neuter and vaccinate their pets, and to show what horrible viruses can spread throughout our community when prevention services aren’t used.
