Hi, ni hao! I'm a MA student of cultural management and policy in Belgrade, Serbia, originally from China. I love both Serbian and Chinese cuisines here. But it's a pity that I found it not "real" Chinese food in some of the "Chinese restaurants" opened either by Serbian or by Chinese people. Why? The staffs told me that they'd better satisfy local people's taste, so that they combined the both ways of cooking together. But in my opinion, the reason why local people come to the Chinese restaurant is that they think Chinese cuisines are different and healthy.
In this sense, my team would like to organize our campaign in Belgrade during the Chinese Lunar New Year period, which is the most important festival for Chinese people. We will cooperate with some Chinese restaurants in Belgrade. They will make the best cuisines of Chinese taste, while we shall help show some different traditional Chinese culture in different restaurants, such as paper-cutting, Chinese zodiac animals, Chinese knot, tea, calligraphy, lantern, porcelain, antithetical couplet, chopsticks, Beijing Opera, Kunqu Opera, KungFu, and so on. And we will print maps showing the locations of these restaurants and their special cuisine and culture, and some recipes, of course. Customers can get discounts and little gifts with the map. The campaign will last for two weeks.
