Absolute Martial Arts 6th Annual 2015 Break-A-Thon
Organized by: John Dallen
The Devin Laubi Foundation was established in 2004 by the Laubi family who wanted to honor the memory of their young son who "wished he had something to give back" to all those who supported and helped him through his-illness and ultimately his death. Devin Laubi was only 6 years old when he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. He passed away only 2 months after his initial diagnosis. This family set out to benefit the families of children suffering from serious illnesses as well as the foundations that promote fun, growth, and learning for these children and their families. This is a locally run organization that benefits many of the families in the South coast region. On July 26, 2015, Absolute Martial Arts will host the Backyard Barbeque Break-A-Thon at 14 Ventura Drive, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. In order to make this event a huge success, we are hoping for our local community businesses to participate by kindly donating to our chosen charity. We currently are in need of donated gift certificates to local establishments to be raffled off, or if that is not possible, a monetary donation is also acceptable. In return for your generosity, the name of your company will appear on our advertisements and school's social media sites. For our students to participate in the Break-a-Thon, they must raise at least $10. For every $10 raised, the student will break 1 piece of wood. This event relies solely on the participation of our local community and our students. In the past, some of our students have broken upwards of 40 boards each! Please help our students take part in this annual charity event. No donation is too small!
