Adaptive Climbing Group is a community for people with disabilities to have opportunities to inclusively participate in the sport of climbing. Adaptive Climbing is taking the already existing abilities of a person and helping them participate in the sport. This was inspired by the A.C.G. Founder's United States climbing experience post amputation, it led to the first "Adaptive Climbing Clinic" held on March 15, 2012.
Every year we hold an anniversary climbathon party pledging to keep people with disabilties climbing all year long accessible and affordable. Our goal for Massachusetts is to get as many people as possible to help us reach our goal of 6,000 feet of climbing on March 7th.
