Still Crying, Still Looking For That Justice....
February 28, 2016
In June of 2015 a 54 year old woman was arrested for assaulting 5 Prince William County police officers during what is called a "proactive check." Basically cops stopping and frisking everybody outside of their rooms and walking a smoking floor of a hotel with a K-9.
While police were conducting their "check" at a hotel in Woodbridge Virginia when they allege that their K-9 signaled (sat down near) the door of my Sister's hotel room which my mother was visiting at the time. Police gain entry, remove my sister as well as her children leaving the police and the police officer/s and my 54 year old Mother. She was maced and only God and the officers know what else. The hotel room was searched without consent and no seizure. In other words the dog probably sat down because he was tired, thirsty, too close to kids who really knows but for whatever reason the police claim the dog sat where there were no drugs. The sixth officer that she allegedly assaulted was in the booking area when she asked to use the restroom an officer alledgedlly told her to pee on herself so she spat on him, so is said by officers. My Sister is visually impaired and has four kids three at the time of the incident. The fact of the matter is that she has been incarcerated June of last year with no bail hearing or bond set nor has she been to trial due to her PUBLIC DEFENDER being diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson’s disease. She is 54 and assaulted five officers at one time? This sounds so unlikely it is ridiculous.
Her rights have been all the way violated and all they want her to do is plea and sit in jail. Her next court appearance is on July 18th and as you can see she needs proper council to deal with this matter. Any help that anyone can provide will greatly be appreciated. God Bless and thank you all!!
