As many of you know, I am deeply involved with The American Cancer Society, serving in many ways over the past 11 years. I always say that it is unfortuate that we have been brought together by this terrible disease - one that took the lives of too many amazing people. Aunt Deb & Judy... your memory continues to live on through your family. I wish so badly that you both could be here to watch me grow up!
I joined the Activat10n group as a way to showcase my commitment to the American Cancer Society as a young professional in Milwaukee. Alongside 9 other volunteers - we have a goal of raising $10,000 in 15 weeks. Collectively, we can find a cure for cancer in our lifetime. Every dollar counts!
For more than a 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Together with our millions of supporters, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
