The first programme will be presented in the form of a Play, as well as Forum Theatre. Both of these performances will be followed by a Question and Answer session. These sessions will encourage learners to actively participate in the productions.
STUCK IN TRAFFIC (Highly recommended for Intermediate and Secondary Phases)
- The reality of human trafficking is addressed with a short play, focussing on these issues as they are presenting themselves in the daily lives of these learners.
- Shows are adapted to focus on the circumstances of the specific community in which it is performed.
DRINKS ON ME (Secondary Phase)
- The reality of alcohol abuse is addressed with Forum Theatre where the learners have an opportunity to actively participate in the outcome of the play.
- Yet again the scenario of the Forum Theatre is adapted to suit the circumstances of the community in which it is performed.
