BENEFITING: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY-REBUILD MICHIGAN
EVENT: Mighty Mac Swim 2016
EVENT DATE: Sep 05, 2016
Hi everyone! My name is Adam, and I have been swimming since I was 4 years old when I began swim lessons with my dad. I have swam for many teams around the Ann Arbor area including Club Wolverine, AASC, and WASH. In high school I swam and played water polo for Saline High School. I then went to Grand Valley State University to study biomedical science with prospects of going to medical school. While there I participated in their club water polo and swim teams. After graduating last year I started working in supply chain for Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. I have always preferred to swim backstroke and IM. However I have always enjoyed the challenge and freedom of open water since I first participated in the Motor City Mile when I was 10. Ever since seeing the first swim across the straits, I wanted to make it my goal to do it someday. I am very excited to be participating in the Mighty Mac swim and to be supporting Michigan communities by raising money for Habitat for Humanity. However, I do need your help fundraising $4,800 for Habitat for Humanity so I’ll be able to achieve my goal, and give a deserving family the home of their dreams. I hope you consider making a donation today not only to help me achieve my goal, but also to help a family in need. Thank You!
