Hello everyone, My name is David, I am a 51 yr. New Englander in recovery. How many of us have been affected by addiction, either ourselves or a loved one. It is getting harder and harder for those struggling with addiction to find help. The most common problem is the lack of insurance. And let's face it, most addict and alcoholics are uninsured. Treatment is very expensive and unobtainable for most. Although we live in the best country in the world, the truth is, free or assisted health care is extremely limited. I want to create a place where help is available to men and women who need and most of all want it. To make it possible to become productive members of society once again. A place where addicts and alcoholics will have access to one on one counciling, meetings, a clean and sober safe environment giving them the hope they so desperately need. With internet access giving them the opportunity to seek and find employment. Encouragement and understanding to those who never had it. Our goal is to provide the opportunity to become self sufficient and become active in the community making it a better place for all of us. Most of all, help needs to be readily available. Without having a waiting list, where people have to call, check in daily until there is a place for them. This causes a loss of hope. Obviously we can't help everyone, but it would be a crime not to try. Our plan is already in action, but financial help is desperately needed. Thank You For Making A Difference
