I wake up most days and think "what am I going to do today?" Most of us do. It's awesome. It's great to be able to decide your fate, on a daily basis. Sure, you have your job, you have your commitments. But you can always walk away.
Many animals that are on the streets of LA have just a few bad choices available to them. RUN. HIDE. DIE. Or get lucky.
And by get lucky I mean having a group like A Dog's Life Rescue change your life, give you a chance, and literally save your life.
We all work hard for what we make. But please understand, A Dog's Life Rescue spends EVERY penny donated on the animals. I should know, my wife runs A Dog's Life, and often spends her own (our) money to fill the gap. She, and everyone at A Dog's Life, are bleeding (sometimes, on more extreme rescues, literally) for these animals.
So please, give something back. I will too. I'm giving my own money, and symbolically, I'm running in the event, and hope you'll have my back.
My goal is $5000, $1000 for each kilometer I run. Hook me up, and bask in the glow of a good deed that will never be punished.
Instead of a registration fee, we ask that you please donate $15 to your own fundraising page.
All donations are tax-deductible.
