BENEFITING: Adoption First Animal Rescue
First, we have Star. Star was rescued near death from the backyard of a breeder. She was severely malnourished and had Lyme disease. All of her puppies but two did not make it through the ordeal. Star and her puppies cost the rescue several hundred dollars that we still owe. However, star is now healthy and living in her forever home. Then, we have Faith who was also near death when she was rescued. She was malnourished and very sick. Terrified, she still requires more care and will not be adopted out for some time as she is still terrified and adapting to life outside of the shelter. Finally, we have Ms Jingles. Jingles is still with a foster and was also a large expense for the rescue. She had to be taken to the emergency vet for bleeding so we were not able to use our normal vet which resulted in a bill that was about $300. While each of these dogs is definitely worth it, we are maxed out on veterinary bills and need to get them paid down so that we can help more animals!
