Having a baby is far more important than monogrammed towels
Organized by: Heather and Tyrone Brown
EVENT DATE Sep 20, 2015
Conceiving a baby is not always as easy as we think it should be. For those facing the challenges of infertility, in vitro fertilization (also referred to IVF) can be an incredible opportunity to grow your family. Unfortunately it is an expensive process, and one that is not always covered by insurance. Tyrone & I know this 1st hand after trying for over 5 yrs. With donations you can help alleviate the financial strain.
Heather will running in a 5k for Run For life; The Kevin J Lederer Foundation this September in Glenview, IL for The Kevin J Lederer Foundation. The foundation was set up honoring a well-respected and loved physician who specialized in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. They promote health and alleviate the mental and physical distress of individuals and couples diagnosed with infertility through education and financial assistance as a non- profit.
Money shouldn’t be the barrier to achieving a dream of parenthood and having a family. Think of it like a baby registry before the baby. Actually being able to have the baby is far more important than monogrammed towels and fancy bottle warmers. The hardest part of IVF is that it is so personal but the more you put it out there and remind people that there are so many on this journey; with that being said we hope to eliminate some stress for our next journey. Please consider making a donation whether it be a flat donation or a donation per mile and help fulfill our dreams and please share our link. Thank you in advance from the both of us!
