African Women’s Development Foundation Inc USA (AWDF) is a non-profit 501c-3 organization registered with the State of Georgia, founded on the basis of advancing the causes for African Women and children World wide. At AWDF we envision a future for Africa and the global community where women and children can be empowered to prosper and realize their full potential through sustainable growth and development. African Women's Development Foundation was founded in 2005 by Lady Kate Njeuma as a tribute to her mother Mrs Annastasia Asong Atabong, a strong and dynamic African woman whose life is not only dedicated to her five children but to her community. Inspired by her mother to continue the legacy of service, Lady Kate Njeuma believes its a gift from God.
To help women, children and communities in need, reach their full potential by strategically mobilizing human, material and financial support to bring about sustainable growth and development.
African Women's Development Foundation envisions a world where less privileged women and children are given the opportunity to excel in life so that they too can contribute to the growth and development of their communities.
