Friends and family and fellow pup lovers help me save Ranger!! I recently had to put my Weimie down after almost 10 years of living with her as my best friend! Skye was my rock through some of my most difficult times and my very first pup! After a bit of time and healing, I found an amazing 7 month old German Shepherd puppy and took him off of the hands of someone who just wasn't caring for him the way he should have been cared for. He was not on puppy food, crated all day and all night, never took car rides, didn't have his puppy shots up-to-date and lived with two boxers that made him extremely nervous and anxious. After only a week, I cannot begin to tell you the amazing improvements Airborne Ranger Jones has made! He gets in the car with no anxiety problems, he's relaxing around other dogs and is in general the biggest teddy bear I've ever met. When I went to take him to the vet this past Saturday for his shots, my heart sank! After $200 in hip X-Rays, I was informed that he has severe hips and will most likely need them both replaced by a specialist. I cried all day because the expense is too much and not something I can take on. The vet recommended I return him to his original owner because this type of situation just gets progressively worse with no treatment and he knows how hard it was for me to walk through the things I walked through with my Skyler. While the gentlemen I took him from has offered to take him back from me and return the little amount of money I gave him, the thought of putting him back into that environment breaks my heart! Will you help me with whatever donation you can? I know things are tough for everyone, but whatever little amount would be so appreciated! I just don't want to return him to be not cared for and potentially put down. I'm getting recommendations and finding out more details. As I know more, I'll keep you up-to-date!
