Times are tough here in Alabama.
Unless you have been on the Royal Wedding craze (it's over, move on), you know that the state of Alabama has seen better days. The tornadoes that hit Wednesday have destroyed hundreds of homes, cars, and communities. Personally, the house I was in was hit as well. I'm perfectly fine though (can't say the same for my car, but that's what insurance is for).
The point is that right now, Tuscaloosa is coming together as a community to help out itself and everyone around us, and we could use a bit of help. This Mickey guy has started this Crowdrise project to help out those in need, and I think you need to seriously donate. 100% of all of it goes to the Red Cross's Birmingham Chapter, so you know the money will go to those directly hit by the storm. So if you can't volunteer, live too far away, or just don;t do the "manual labor" thing, then this is the perfect way to help out your fellow man.
So donate today, because it't the right thing to do.

Tornadoes ripped through much of the South yesterday, with a majority of the damage reported in the state of Alabama with over 100 people killed, including several in the city of Tuscaloosa alone, where 200-mph winds swept homes off their foundations.
“President Obama declared a state of emergency for the search-and-rescue response in Alabama late Wednesday and said federal officials had their eye on the storms and would offer help as needed.”
Do your part to help those that have suffered from this horrible disaster. We are collecting donations for American Red Cross Birmingham Area Chapter. Working for Groupon, we are grateful for the relationships we have formed with so many great individuals and families in Alabama. We want to do our part to provide whatever is needed in this time of great distress. Please help us provide necessary food and supplies for those who need it most.
