Last month I received the devastating news that I have stage 4 metastatic gastro-esophageal cancer, despite being a seemingly healthy 40-year-old woman with no medical or genetic risk factors. I can't have cancer, I'm MUFFY! But, I do.
My love, Mac (aka Mitts), has been my champion every step of the way. We've learned that winning the fight of my life will require more than a great insurance plan, oncologist, and medical team. It also requires alternative treatments, out-of-pocket specialist consultations, increased co-pays, special foods, and most importantly, time to manage all this.
Annually, this will cost us about $100K per year. As hard as it is to ask, Mitts and Muffy need your help.
Twenty years ago, Mac and I went to college together. Four years ago we met again and fell in love. One and a half years ago, we got married. We are undone at the thought of our uncertain future. But, Mac believes I can win, and so do I. So I am going to fight.
Will you chip in to help Mitts and Muffy go on and on and on?
