MGF Touch Foundation is our internal charitable vehicle (of MGF Sourcing & administered by the Columbus Foundation) for giving back to the communities in which we live and work in.. Our focus is on tackling the growing global crime of human trafficking.. Since its inception just over a year ago, we have raised over US $450,000 through various fundraising activities globally.. In addition, we have started working with several organizations and charities around the world to accomplish the goal of our foundation on tackling human trafficking.
VIETNAM: Pacific Links Foundation – ADAPT leads grass-root anti-trafficking initiatives at the frontiers of Vietnam by investing comprehensively in at-risk youths to prevent trafficking before it starts, and in survivors to help them reclaim their lives.
SRI LANKA: Community Development Services (CDS) works to raise awareness through tools and training, working with the local government & authorities providing counseling and assistance to victims of human trafficking. Migrant workers who have experienced human rights violations are also benefited.
TAIWAN: Hope Worker’s Center (HWC) plays an active role in maintaining the human rights of migrant workers, both in local communities and involvement with the Taiwanese government. HWC focuses on prevention, education, assistance and protection for those who have become victims of human trafficking throughout Taiwan.
USA: Freedom a la Cart is a Columbus, OH catering business and workforce development program that prepares local, adult survivors of human trafficking for economic self-sufficiency. Freedom showcases local and delicious food, while providing a supportive work environment for those on a journey towards restoration.
