I am running the 2015 NYC Marathon on November 1st to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This is my first marathon and I have been training for 4 months and have volunteered and completed several races to qualify for the event.
My family has been personally impacted by blood cancer as my mom had stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 7 years ago and is a survivor.
LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, raising over $600 million dollars to battle leukemia and lymphoma. Worldwide, there are over 900,000 new leukemia and lymphoma cases every year.
With your donation, we can continue to fund cutting edge research to fight blood cancer. Please also see if your employer has employee-matching programs to further contribute to this cause!
Any donation which you can contribute would be much appreciated - thank you for your support!
