EVENT DATE: Jan 19, 2014
Taylor Shultz is an amazing family friend. He was in Houston, Texas on business, and was riding as a front seat passenger in a car traveling East on I-10 near Katy. A heavy metal object flew through the front windshield, and struck Taylor in his head. He was then taken by ambulance to Hermann Memorial in Katy, and then air lifted to the Hermann Memorial hospital in the Medical Center in Houston. Taylor suffered a brain injury to his right frontal lobe, severe and extensive skull and facial fractures, and damage to his right eye.
I am training for my first marathon(Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in Phoenix, AZ) with our dogs Lily, Huck and Duncan in the Shultz family's honor in the hopes that I can raise money to help them through this challenging time. Let's do this!
